Capturing The Treasure Of Everyday Moments

    Featuring Jewels from
Generations, CLAL’s Sacred Days Calendar Offers the Luster of Precious
Stones with Sacred Texts to Illuminate the Beauty of Jewish Wisdom

By Judy Epstein, Director of Public Affairs

Featuring the magnificent gems of respected author and
dealer Benjamin Zucker, CLAL’s new Sacred Days 5767-5768 (2006-2007)
calendar presents the sparkle of unique jewelry with a wealth of Jewish
wisdom, stories and texts, to create a truly special resource for daily use.
Offering reflections, essays and insights by CLAL faculty and friends, the
calendar invites us to consider the invaluable gems in our own lives: whom
we value personally and communally, our struggles and successes, and our
    deep values and actions.

“More than just a daily planner, the Sacred Days calendar offers a moving
tribute to what we hold dear, framing the jewel filled pages with inspiring
insights,” said Donna M. Rosenthal, Executive Vice Chairman of CLAL. “The
glorious photos combined with the beautiful texts add luster to each day,
and provide people with a new way to experience their Jewish identity,
through word and image, honoring the jewels in our lives.”

The easy to use Sacred Days calendar and daily planner features all of the
Jewish holidays and Torah readings for Shabbat, candlelighting times for 14
cities in North America and Jerusalem, and Torah, Haftarah and special
liturgical readings for Jewish holidays. Spiral bound and spanning 16
months, it offers daily planning in a weekly format.
